Today's artwork

Autumn Mist

This is watercolour on stretched Saunders Waterford 140lb.

I used granulation medium on this for the texture - not so clear on these little images, better on my deviant art page if you're interested.

I used a "Ken Bromley" stretcher, which was very interesting. Basically, you wet the paper and put it on a wooden board - the edges are then pushed into place with rubber poles. At this point you can dry it with a dryer, so it makes for fantastically quick stretching - no waiting, no tape - very easy. Would recommend.
